We supply 10 metre strips with an input cable at both ends. Shorter strips have an input cable at one end. The cable consists of 3 cores; white, yellow, brown.

You can cut the strip to length yourself (with scissors), to as small as every 27.78mm.

App Control and Alexa Compatible

Our new LED TV sync kit is controlled from your phone and can also be integrated with Alexa. Download the SmartLife App to control your new TV LED lights from your phone. Custom settings include video mode (sync with the images on the screen), music mode (flashes and changes colour to the sound of music) and you can change the intensity of the synchronization from high, medium or low to give you the perfect viewing experience.

You can also choose one standard colour to have the lights set to, choose from any colour imaginable!

You can also set the Smart LED lights to one of the twelve pre-programmed scenes which include a rainbow setting and the comet effect around your TV.

Pre-Cut LED Strip Lengths

The LED strip in the TV sync kit comes pre-cut and wired. Choose from the 50″-65″ or the 70″-85″ LED kit. The LED strip lengths for the 70″-85″ kit are- side pieces 80cm, top and bottom pieces 1.4m. The LED strip lengths for the 50″-65″ kit are- side pieces 70cm, top and bottom pieces 1.2m.

Installation of Backlight Kit

Please ensure the surface you are mounting the LEDs to is clean and free of dust, we recommend using something similar to nail varnish remover to ensure the surface is completely clean.

1.) Starting from the left-hand side of the rear of the TV, carefully remove the adhesive paper backing and firmly press the LED strip onto the rear of the TV. The LED strip comes in one piece but has small cables to allow manipulation around the corners of your TV.

2.) Once completed, you can use the stick-on clips to hold the corner cables in place behind the TV so they can’t be seen.

3.) Plug the LED lights into the HDMI control box. The HDMI control box requires a power supply.

4.) Plug in the HDMI control box using the UK 3-pin plug supplied.

5.) Connect your HDMI input from your device to the control box and the physical installation is complete.

6.) Download the SmartLife App from the App Store and away you go!
