This LED strip is sold in 2.5m, 5m, 7.5m and 10m lengths. We can also supply bespoke lengths in increments of 5cm by special order with a 10-14 day lead time – Contact us for details.

As standard, this LED Strip is manufactured and supplied in 10m lengths, so purchases of strips other than these standard lengths are non-returnable as they have been cut to size or specially manufactured for you.

We supply 10m strips with an input cable at both ends. Other length (2.5m, 5m and 7.5m) strips have an input cable at one end.

Cutting and Sealing the LED Strip

The Waterproof LED strip can be cut with scissors, to as small as every 5cm. Once cut the end of the LED strip will need sealing. We sell small tubes of clear silicone and clear rubber end caps which can be used to seal the cut end of the LED strip. Select the ‘Sealing Kit’ in the blue options box if required. The kit includes two end caps and 1 small tube of silicone.

The LED strip is self adhesive backed, however water can degrade the adhesive over time. Alternatively, we sell clear mounting clips which screw down to secure the LED strip. Select ‘Mounting Clips’ in the blue options box if required. They are sold in packs of 20.

Up to 10 metres of LED strip can be wired in series with a 24V driver. Additional LED strips need to be connected in parallel (see the Diagram).

Installing the IP68 LED strip in a suitable housing

Due to the increased height of the IP68 LED strip, the only suitable profile is the ‘Square’ aluminium housing.
