12V LED Driver 12 watts – Not Waterproof.

Manufactured by Mean Well. Widely considered as one of the leading ‘standard switching’ power supply manufacturers.

This Mean Well APV-12-12 LED Driver power supply can power up to 12 watts of our 12V single colour and RGB colour changing LED Strip Lights. The driver features a live and neutral input, which can be wired to the mains supply, and a 12-volt output (red and black) to connect directly to our single colour LED Strip Lights. To power our RGB Colour Changing LED Strip Lights, connect directly with the RGB Colour Controller. Not Waterproof, if used outdoors it must be protected from wet or damp conditions.

    Ive fitted the strip lighting in my trailer tent so the small size of the driver is great, it is fitted tucked away neatly in the trailer. My only criticism is the length of the mains lead – its a bit short!

    Quiet, compact and easy to set up. It is however worth noting that whilst this is shorter than the 18 Watt driver, it is deeper and wider. If you’re hoping to hide this, bear that in mind!
